Senior Consultant
Yumi Morita is a highly experienced member of the Consumer Goods and Retail team at CDS. She focuses on luxury goods, FMCG, hospitality and entertainment. She has been working in executive search in Japan since 1995 and in that time has placed hundreds of senior executives across all key functional areas in small, medium and large companies as well as start-ups.
Yumi began her career with Siemens in Germany and worked a total of nine years in the IT industry. Later she moved to London, where she spent six years in the television and entertainment space in joint-venture and start-up situations with Marubeni and Disney, respectively.
Yumi speaks fluent German and English in addition to her native Japanese. She graduated with an arts degree from the Staatliche Kunstakademie in Stuttgart, Germany.
Yumi is passionate about music and plays keyboard in a jazz fusion band.
