Foreign capital consumer goods company is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee their rapidly expanding Japan operations.
Overall responsibility includes all aspects of financial and management reporting in the Japanese business, primarily:
- Overseeing financial and management accounts preparation;
- Preparation of the annual budget, and overseeing budgetary control;
- Monitoring cash flow;
- Interpreting financial results;
- Business modeling and forecasting;
- Participating in strategic planning, and formulating long-term business plans;
- Assessing the financial implications of new or existing business strategies;
- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
As a senior member of the country management team, the incumbent will be responsible for providing financial advice and support to the Japan Country Manager in order to make sound business decisions. Though the core responsibilities will focus on financial affairs, there will also be major company expansion projects that you will be expected to play an active role. Direct reporting line with be to the Japan Country Manager, with dotted line to Asia Pacific Financial Controller. Domestic as well as overseas travel (2-3 time per year) will be required for this position.
Those interested in this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Accounting credentials with a minimum of 5 years practical experience
- 3 years practical Finance Manager experience in general finance, tax and accounting
- Experience working in an international company
- Experience in explaining accounting concepts to non accountants
- Excellent project management skills
- Enormous energy and the ability to energize others
- Excellent business level English, in addition to native Japanese

給与は１６００万まで
