Account Executive
Online Retail Company is seeking for an aggressive, dynamic and motivated Account Executive who will execute sales strategies, methodologies and processes to close contracts and meet aggressive partner acquisition and revenue goals. Specifically this person will be responsible for creating and managing the sales pipeline; directly interfacing with prospective clients' executive teams to facilitate all stages of a sale. This person will also drive and create proposals, business cases, and responses to customers' business requirements; work closely with the their platform services team to determine the integration requirements for the partner; negotiate and close contracts; provide senior-level negotiation and liaise with their executive management to assist in closing business and work with their technology teams to scope initial implementation needs and assist in the turnover of the account to Partner Management. Last this person will participate in weekly sales meetings and provide the sales team and business with continual updates on business.
To be considered you must possess 6+ years overall sales experience, 4+ years with $1m+ enterprise class, in the technology, commerce, or technology publishing industries. Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets is required. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated success in solutions selling environments with license fees, recurring value and maintenance fees; demonstrated success in selling to Executive level management at top companies. Must also be highly consultative and solutions-oriented; have superior communication and presentation skills and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment. Must have the ability to make good decisions when analysis of data is not sufficient to reach a conclusion; must be able to develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations or problems. Lastly, this person should be very passionate about success and winning. A bachelor's degree is required; an M.B.A. is preferred.
