Research Associate
Machiko joined CDS in an industrial and technology research role after completing masters degrees in international relations at Ritsumeikan University, and in the US in Washington D.C. While studying in Washington, Machiko interned at the CSIS, a prestigious think tank, and was in charge of organizing a workshop in Prague focusing on the IT industry in Eastern Europe. In this role she worked with leaders from leading IT companies, ministries, and international organizations.
In her free time, Machiko enjoys live Jazz, theater (opera and kabuki), traveling and reading.
