Foreign Equity Fund Manager, Tokyo
- The position involves foreign equity portfolio management within a Japanese asset management company.
- Up to now, the firmﾕs strength has been in fixed income management; however, the firm is planning to expand into equity investments, therefore they are looking for an experienced Equity Fund Manager.
- The firm expects you to lead the foreign equity fund management function with minimum supervision by utilizing your solid background in equities.
- The firmﾕs current primary sales targets are the associated securities company and other mid-level securities firm, but now the company is planning to extend the sales area and assets under management through new investment trust fund products to mega banks and regional banks.
Requirements:
- Experience in foreign equity fund management (you will be asked details about the size of portfolios you have managed and their returns at interview).
- Ability to assist in planning and designing new equity fund products with the product development and planning team.
- The ability to work in a ﾒfamily typeﾓ of company that has an open environment to exchange ideas freely. Since one of the companyﾕs business objectives is to increase sales to banks, experience with dealing with investors from banks is an advantage.
