Originally hailing from the United States, Eugene is a veteran of the US Navy and a degreed Mechanical Engineer. Eugene has worked in the US, Hong Kong, and most recently in Japan as an engineer and researcher specializing in mechanical design, computer-aided engineering, and surface analysis. He recently joined CDS as a member of the Industrial and Manufacturing Team.

In his free time, Eugene enjoys practicing Russian martial arts, rock climbing, reading, blogging, cooking, and spending time with family.
