Country Manager, US Software Solutions Company

CDS was retained to identify and recruit a Country Manager for this US based software company. The challenge for CDS was to go out into the market to locate a leader within a relatively small, highly competitive niche market. Market perceptions on the client's technology were very narrow and in most cases unfounded due to lack of information. CDS went out and educated potential candidates on the value of our client's technology and services, the attraction of joining a start-up, and pointed out many possible applications for a range of devices. Within four weeks, CDS provided a short list of candidates, and within two months of beginning the assignment, CDS successfully concluded the recruiting process by securing the top candidate for the position. The entire process was managed between CDS in Tokyo and the client' HQ in the US.
