New Internal Audit Department Manager for the Leading US Investment Company
This leading US investment company working on "turn around" investments, retained CDS to find the first person to head their new Internal Audit dept. The client sought candidates outside the finance industry with operating company experience and strong international exposure. CDS therefore focused on Japanese companies, and candidates with experience in overseas subsidiaries including trading companies and large Japanese manufacturers. After a thorough search, CDS identified a senior level candidate in a Japanese auto maker and handled all the cross cultural concerns and other issues he faced transitioning to a western client after a lifetime of domestic Japanese company employment and secured his joining to the satisfaction of all parties.
