More than 20 key staff, US Software Vendor
The client had a strong distributor relationship with a Japanese partner and wished to move to a more direct model to take full control of the marketing and sales process, and to strengthen brand identity in the market. Two of the CDS management team worked on this retained assignment and have successfully introduced more than 20 key staff including the Country Manager, all the line managers and a strong corporate sales team. The company has increased revenues from US$ 5 million to close to US$ 20 million and has managed to retain everyone. As well as working closely with the Regional Managing Director, CDS also forged strong links with HQ and regional HR, advising and consulting on the hiring process, rules of employment and other HR related matters.
