Responsibilities:

Senior Director Business Operations
General Purpose of Job:
Improves the profitability and cost-efficiency of business operation by:
- Provides guidance to sales and marketing leadership in major decisions affecting both revenue-generation and cost management
- Provides long range and short-term forecasting of revenue and expenses for APAC leaderships
- Provides financial analysis as well as periodic adjustments to commissions, overrides and bonuses
- Oversees the development of the annual Budget and Plan
- Tracks Monthly and quarterly performances, issues budget variance reports and provides analysis of revenue and expense results to sales marketing leadership
Experience and skills required:
- Minimum 5 years managerial experience in Finance, Operations, Sales or Marketing
- Experience in Tourism, Travel, Hospitality, Retail, Real Estate
- Strong organization skills

- High skills level in spreadsheets and database computer programs

Finance Manager
Principal responsibility:
The position is responsible for leading financial reporting and analysis and developing short to mid term plans. The position is a key role for this company to support and advise Management team for decision making in strategy and operation, as a leader of finance team.
This includes the following areas of responsibilities:
Business Planning, Analysis & Reporting
- Develop annual budget, monthly forecast, and other reports to local Management team and US HQ and Asia Pacific Region Management
- Prepare monthly management report
- Provide analytical data research and study
- Conduct economic and market research to evaluate the strategic practices
- Study new opportunities for Japan market
Others
- Join cross-departmental projects and assist the team in the financial viewpoint
- Supervise and train junior financial analyst(s)
Detailed responsibilities:
- Lead and manage financial planning, analysis, and reporting, including budget, forecast, and strategic plans
- Manage Sales report and various financial management reports
- Lead expense control and plan for the team
Qualifications & experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis
- Strong analytical skill
- Functional/Technical Skills
- Action Oriented
- Strong leadership and management skill
- Independent and proactive
- Extensive experience with Excel
- Bilingual and bicultural in Japanese and English
- Teamwork oriented
Other requirements, if any:
MBA preferable not required.
The position will work closely w/ non-Japanese organization, and needs to communicate in English effectively.
