Title: Associate Consultant
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Candidate Relationship Management
- Develop and manage Candidate relationships with the purpose of understanding and evaluating the Candidate’s achievements, skill sets, core competencies, and career aspirations, and successfully introducing and placing Candidates in CDS’ Client organizations
- Achieve set quarterly and yearly revenue targets
- Source Candidates directly and by working with a CDS researcher to develop prospective Candidates on a regular basis
- Screen, interview, evaluating Candidate and prepare Candidate profile. Conduct Candidate reference checks
- Present Client job opportunities to qualified Candidates
- Manage and coordinate the introduction, interview, and feedback process between Candidates and Clients (directly or with CDS consultant managing the Client) and manage expectations on both sides
- Present and negotiate terms and conditions of the Client’s offer to the Candidate
- Work with CDS team members to introduce your relevant Candidates to their Clients
- Attend Client pitches with Senior Consultants
- Attend networking functions, tradeshows, and seminars to build Candidate network
- Maintain up to date Candidate information and activity on CDS’ database
Qualifications and Key Competencies:
- 1 to 3 years professional working experience as a research associate or associate consultant in recruiting, sales or industry preferred
- Must be able to consistently achieve targets
- Work experience in Japan preferred
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to work independently and within a diverse team setting
- Confident, ambitious, articulate, bias for action, and results oriented
- Positive mind-set, passionate, logical
- Demonstrates CDS’ core values: quality, integrity, trust, respect, and growth
- Strong time management skills
- Potential to move up into a consultant and/or senior consultant position within CDS
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree
